Meet your guide in the center of Florence, and take a private car into the Tuscan hills that overlook the city. Enjoy stunning views of grape vines and orchards, then pause for breakfast in a local establishment known for the area’s best cappuccino. Visit a local farmhouse where sheep cheese is made, and learn about the traditional process from start to finish.

Explore a cattle farm that raises cattle for classic Florentine steaks, then enjoy a warm Italian welcome at a historic farmhouse with Roman architecture and a serene farm garden. Slow down to the pace of life in rural Italy for a sumptuous on-farm barbecue, with locally produced meat, cheese and vegetables alongside wine that’s made onsite.

Follow winding roads into the village of San Gimignano, where you can explore medieval streets and buildings, with time to visit artisan potters and a celebrated gelateria. Taste your way through Tuscany’s classic chiantis at a family-owned organic vineyard, then return to the farmhouse to cook a pizza dinner before returning to Florence.

A very enjoyable tour. The only issue was that we were not able to go and visit the cheese making portion of the tour, odd reason given so we were disappointed . Instead we went to a nearby medieval town which was gorgeous. The food was excellent and abundant

Description of the tour was mirepresented. The guide Leonardo only wanted to get you drunk. Pizza making was changed to pasta making and there was no visit to farm or cheese making. The other couple with us had signed up for half day tour and were forced to stay all day till late night.

Highly recommend! A joyous way to experience Tuscany. Our guide Leonardo did an excellent job. We had a cooking class, helped make lunch then a tour to San Giannini then back to the estate for a wonderful Bar B Q dinner.
