Electric Cart Tour Florence

Luca was an outstanding tour guide! He brought sunshine to what was a rainy Florence day..sharing insights to this wonderful city, and making us feel special.

The golf cart tour Florence We booked this golf cart tour to show us around Florence. We had book another a week before in Rome and it was amazing. Unfortunately this one was far from that one. First of all we had to take a taxi to the golf cart place the pick up place was in the plaza we were at. The roads were closed because of a event. We didn’t have to pay for the taxi. I have to say the driver of the golf cart was not a good guide. He used a tape that was played to describe the places that we didn’t even know where we were looking at. He kept having to stop the tape because of areas that were blocked off and we could not go to. He didn’t stop at areas just drove by except the Michelangelo Square where we were able to take pics. This was nice. He drove around nice areas of houses but Really didn’t talk. I felt like it was just driving around not knowing what was being pointed out from the audio that was always being stopped. The driver was more interested in getting back to the office than given us a tour which was disappointing.Even that it was only an hr and 1/2 it was not worth the money I spent. If I could I would want my money back.

Our guide was fantastic. A member of a long-standing Florentine family, he brought Florence to life from a historical, political, artistic and architectural perspective. He loves his city - and now - so do we. A golf cart tour with a guide of this caliber is a perfect introduction to Florence, and we would highly recommend it.

The commentary is by a recoding so wasn’t as interactive as I expected but the 2 hour tour made all the sight seeing worth it! I got to explore a lot of different parts of the city I don’t even know about other than the city center! Was fun to see the city in a different way!
