Family-Friendly Cooking Class in Florence with Organic Ingredients

It was great fun to do the class. The place is very nice with good equipment. We were the only family so it gave us all the attention if the Chef who was very knowledgeable and fun. The class itself is pretty basic (if you cook yourself) but it is clearly to accommodate young kids needs. We made pasta, pizza and tiramisu. How’d we we learnt lots of different tips and hints from the Chef that were really valuable. Couple of points for improvement: - We had to wear mask through the course. I understand the measures but we were the only family and I guess the Chef wearing mask should have been sufficient. Difficult one of course, but it was also difficult to keep kids with mask on through the entire course - perhaps good to give cooking hats to make it more fun? - certificates could be printed on a bit more solid paper and perhaps using color printer

We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with Luca from chef factory. My family (my husband, three girls and myself) loved learning the tips of cooking pizza, pasta & gelato. Would recommend to any family travelling through Florence for a fun afternoon and delicious dinner.

Our family of 4 loved this hands on experience. Our 10 year old son and 8 year old daughter said it was one of the month long trip highlights. The chef was patient and provided great tips. The fresh made pasta was delicious. The best we have ever had. The kids had so much fun running it through the pasta machine and has convinced us we need to buy one.

what a great way to learn about Italian cuisine by attending this class.Our host/chef Adela was so sweet professional and fun. She was very knowledgeable and kind. Not only it was fun and educational for adults but our 9 year old also had so much fun and enjoyed the class. Thanks to sweet Adela, to her kind helper and to Francesco! It was worth the money and our time..especially after the delishous tasty results of our cooking:)

We were three generations celebrating my girl 9 year birthday. The menu was adapted to smaller children (mine are 7,9 and 11) and they could participate in every step. We had time to go through all with no rush and Luca explained everything very clearly . Highlight was the confection of the pasta with the famous machine A family teamwork where everybody’s had his role!! A lot of fun!

I did this class with my 10 year old son and were lucky enough to have a chef all to ourselves. Our chef was fabulous with my son and after making pizza, pasta and tiramasu said it was the best experience of our European holiday and I have to agree.

Great class! My kids ages 15, 12 and 10 loves the class and the teacher was knowledgeable and passed on information to us. We all had a great time and the teacher was excellent! All Viator tours we signed up for in Rome Florence were excellent. Will update review for tours planned in Venice and Paris.

Loved everything. The expertise was apparent and the interaction with us as students learning to cook was great.

The class is presented as one to teach children to cook Italian but it is so much more. Our family consisted of 3 generations with the children 10 to 7. Everybody got involved and, I am sure, learned and had a ball. We made pizza, fettuccine, 2 sauces and Tiramisu. Then we devoured the delicious meal. One thing would be nice to see. Chef Francesco showed some really nice techniques for handling the food. I would have bought a CD of them. But overall it was the favorite thing we did in Italy.

The chefs were great with the kids and parents. The food was mediocre at best. Six adults were given 1 bottle of wine - another bottle would have been welcomed as would a salad. The meal was pizza, homemade pasta with a tomato sauce and a meat sauce and tiramisu. No vegetables.
