Tovar Hotel a nice refuge
, Jun 2022
Our most memorable experience was our dining experience at the Tovar Hotel. The view of the Grand Canyon and the cuisine hit the spot after the 2 hour train ride. Shopping and admiring the artistry at the Hopi House was enjoyable too.
great way to travel and see it all!

the train car attendant Cameron is a fantastic host ,personable, knowlegable, very fun and excellent with kids, made the trip worth every dollar. He has a great sense of humor and interacting with all the passengers. Be sure to get his assigned car. He's the best! We loved the whole trip, and will go again, so much to see and do

I, nor my kids have ever been on a train and was really excited. The train was clean and presentable. The train car we were in was coach and our attendant that was assigned to our car was amazing; she was sweet and very knowledgeable about the train and the Grand Canyon. My kids loved it. The only part I didn’t like was the speed on the way back it was pretty slow.

The views of the southern rim of the Grand Canyon were spectacular! Our PSA, Teryl, was great. You can tell she really loves her job and the stories she had to tell along the way were fun an interesting. One suggestion to improve reboarding would be to let the passengers who are in A-E cars that there is one car for getting back on the train and then have a sign on that door with all the letters and then letter each car from the inside. That would save frustration for tired passengers. Thanks!
Great family trip

Cameron was a great guide...lots of helpful info. Stickup by Cataract gang was fun, although maybe it should be done on the way in to the GC. Everyone is pretty tired on the way out. Otherwise a fun way to get a taste of the Grand Canyon

The train was an awesome way to go to the Grand Canyon with plenty of time to walk the rim trail. We went on the Arizona train car where Alexander attended to our snack boxes along with beverages. He was very informative and made sure everyone had everything they needed. Would highly recommend purchasing the first class ticket.
