Fairbanks Ice Fishing Expedition in a Heated Cabin with Fish Cookout

We had a wonderful time ice fishing! Clarence (C-Money) did a fantastic job! He baited the poles and assisted with all the fish- all while creating an amazing atmosphere with jokes & Alaskan info. The cabin was great! The wood stove put off wonderful heat and if it got too warm Clarence opened the door for a few minutes to bring in some cool air. It was fun watching the fish swim around our bait with the with underwater camera. The reindeer sausage were delicious and the fish that were caught were cooked and shared with everyone. Thanks for such an enjoyable morning Clarence!

Fantastic experience ice fishing on a frozen lake. Our guide Trevor was super fun and informative...he made sure we were entertained and well fed (hot chocolate, hot dogs) through out the activity. Our group caught five salmon in four hours and Trevor grilled it with the most delicious seasoning. Highly recommend this activity to everyone coming to North Pole, Alaska!

Early cold morning, but did not fail to stop our enjoyable experience! Clarence was a great guide and kept us warm will we fished! Caught several fish and Clarence cooked them right up for us to keep us full. Would recommend to anyone looking for an exciting adventure.

My daughter and I had so much fun on this adventure! The drive to the lake from Fairbanks was beautiful and pretty snowy and icy, but the roads were well maintained. Parking was easy. Bathrooms were available (though we didn’t use them). The hut had a wood stove in it that kept us all toasty and comfortable. Clarence was an amazing and knowledgeable guide who was able to initiate and keep conversations going. We fished with something like 12-13 people…they were all fun so fishing with them was hilarious. Clarence baited the hooks and removed the fish. He took pictures of each catch if you wanted one. He served us reindeer sausages on buns… oh so yummy! He also served hot chocolate and water. Once we finished catching he cleaned the fish and then cooked them on the wood stove for everyone to try. They were amazing! I found it really interesting that when we closed the curtains we could look into our fishing holes which glowed blue from ice and watch the fish swim by and take the bait. We all wore snow pants and had good boots on to keep our feet warm. There were coat hangers to hang up your gear. Just delightful memories!

We had a blast! The cabin was nice and cozy, the fish were biting, and Clarence was an awesome host. He's super knowledgeable and kept us laughing the whole time. Thank you Clarence!

We had a good time Fishing with Clarence and Trevor. Sadly didn’t catch any fish but loved the experience. Trevor even drilled a new fishing hole in hopes of improving our chances. Reindeer hotdogs they grilled for us were awesome!

I have never fished but when you are in Alaska have to do it. So glad we chose ice fishing and it was an amazing experience. We were warm, it was fun to catch my first fish, it was fun to see others catch fish and we got to enjoy some delicious reindeer dogs and our catch of the day. Yum!! Thank you Clarance for being so helpful, taking care of us and being an amazing cook!!

Clarence was a great instructor and very helpful not to mention a great cook of our fish and also kept us warm and entertained. Wonderful experience and created great memories would do again if up this way.

Clarence was such a great sport, he made everyone feel so comfortable and provided such great positive energy. I caught my very first fish and he made sure to celebrate it BIG! I had such an awesome experience.
