Jillian was amazing as our guide and all the partner activities and stops were lovely. There were scenic views, and every road and bridge had a history. We were able to relax, hike, and stopped for some photo ops in the mountains.

The scenery while riding was beautiful! It was an English saddle, so I was not as familiar with it and felt a little nervous, but I managed. The lakes we saw were fabulous. Even though we had over an hour to see the last two, it would have been nice to spend more time there. Overall a very nice day.

Great guide but lacking in some perspective

The tour was both great and not. In my opinion the coach was a bit small, the seats uncomfortable and the windows to small, it was hard to see the views. The tour guide made the tour great. He was funny, kind, told us much about everything. It's a bit confusing because the tour actually is one of three activities - horse riding, walking or Powerscourt garden but everyone is on the same bus. Some people didn't know that. I think that's Viator's problem. The horse riding was good. But I thought the stables were a bit shabby. The trek was ok, in the forest and we did some walking and trotting. 1,5 hours. The best part in my opinion was the drive over Wicklow mountain, really nice views and no tourists at all. Glendalough is very impressive but very many tourists. So no, maybe not the best tour I ever had, but it was good for the money I paid and again, our guide really made the trip.

Our trip to a Wicklow was the highlight of our visit to Dublin. We went horseback riding and it was beautiful. I had ridden horses before but my boyfriend had not and it was suitable for both.

Matt, our guide did an amazing job shepherding us around the Wicklow Mountains and Glendalough. The horseback riding experience was well worth the money and suitable for all skill levels. The wooded trails were easy to navigate. Kudos to Matt for imparting his extensive knowledge of Irish history to us in an entertaining fashion.

Very nice guides during the tour. However, the riding in the forest was not I have expected. I expected a riding in the hills of Wicklow as it is shown in the marketing picture. The tour to Glendalough was excellent, especially thanks to the guide Julien.

The horseriding experience was amazing. The staff did a great job, and the trail was astonishing. Richard was an amazing guide, his stories were delightful and super relevant to the trip. We stopped at every meaningful place, but the trip was dynamic and enjoyable. If you are a quick walker, though, you will like to go a bit further at Glendalough and see both lakes and (possibly) the waterfall.

It is a great excursion. Richard, driver and guide, is friendly, knowledgeable and a fun person to get to know this part of Ireland. Despite the fact that the weather was cold, horseback riding was a fun experience. The stables staff were welcoming and encouraging to those who don’t have much experience riding. Glendalough is mystical and beautiful.

Horse back riding through Wicklow was absolutely amazing. If you’re slightly athletic, then it will be a great time. We also got to see the Guinness lake and Glendalough. Both took my breath away. It was a nice day trip.
