An Amazing Day

I was originally booked to go on a half day hike, but agreed to be switched to the whole day hike. I am so glad I made the change.
Zach was an amazing guide!! He is extremely knowledgeable as well as very personable. He took great care of all of us and made sure we weren’t taking on more than we could handle. The scenery was breathtaking. I would happily book this adventure again. Thank you Zach!

Elsa at Alpine was amazing. She was very patient with all of the different skill levels in our Middle Aged group and was super knowledgeable on all things Colorado. She challenged us on a beautiful trail. Don’t forget to stop and look around. Highly recommend Elsa at Alpine if you can get her.
Nice Hike but preferred to go further north to the National Park

We booked this trip because it had great reviews, views looked amazing and we only wanted to do a half day event. I wanted my husband to experience the Rocky Mountains as this was his first time in Denver. Our tour guide was Nick and he was very helpful and friendly. We took about a 4 mile hike up in Mount Falcon Park which is west of Denver near Morrison, CO. We got great views of Red Rock from up above, saw a mule training for a race, and witnessed a rattlesnake sighting. However, I was expecting a trip north closer to the Rocky Mountain National Park based on the map provided in the tour description itinerary. We even dressed as if we were heading to a cooler climate. Instead, we were only in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains @ ~8,000 ft elevation. My suggestion for future "hikers" is to ask where the tour will take place for the day in order to manage your expectations.
Beautifully stunning views!

This was a great hike with Elsa! The hike itself took about 2 to 2.5 hours. There were great views for photos. Be prepared with comfortable sneakers, sunblock, and sunglasses or a hat. Some parts of the hike were a bit rocky so you must pay attention as you are hiking. Overall, i would recommend this hike! I had a fun time and a good workout with lots of scenic photos.

This weekend I took the Half Day Rocky Mountain hike. What a beautiful way to spend the morning! The drive to the hike was very scenic in itself, we even rode by Red Rocks Amphitheater. The hike led us up to a scenic spot with mountains all around us, great for photos. After the hike we had extra time, so we stopped in the charming town of Evergreen, where we could relax by the lake or shop and eat. Our guide, Elsa, was accommodating from start to finish, not walking too fast nor too slow, being very considerate of all of her guests. Thank you for a great visit to the Rockies Elsa!
Bear Creek Trail

, Jul 2022
Our tour guide, Elsa, took our group to hike Bear Creek Trail. It was a great 3.5 mile loop. We had great views and the hike was not too difficult. Elsa was very knowledgeable of our surrounding nature. After we were able to visit a local town nearby for coffee before heading back to Denver. Elsa offered great tips for some local spots to eat after the hike. We would definitely book another tour with them.

Your tour guy Jed was great, super patient with my group. This was our first hike on this type of terrain (mountainous, not paved). This is an easy- intermediate hike for someone who has hiked this type of terrain before. The trail was hilly going AND on the way back. Even more work on the way back. Overall, we made it and had a great time.
Spectacular scenery and experience!

We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Why you are seeing these recommendations
Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
