I enjoyed the theater...

I enjoyed the theater story telling. I was disappointed that we were only allowed to visit 3 rooms in the house. That was suppose to be the main attraction. The plantation was beautiful.

This was a very homogenized plantation. Home built in 1936, toured all of 4 rooms. Slave quarters had very interesting information.

A Learning Experience

When I tour, if I take away one piece of information that is new to me, I feel so lucky. I must have hit the jackpot. This experience was so filled with information that I was totally unaware of. It was a great choice.

Story tellers did a nice job of explaining controversial topics in a seemingly accurate and fair way. The avenue of oaks is worth the visit.
