BIKE & BITE food tour

Excellent tour but the traffic was heavy and made biking difficult, the food stops were excellent and really enjoyed our tour guides. They are the best and would take a tour again with them

What a terrific, tasty tour! With surprises in sights, smells, tastes, and even sounds - your heart will be touched if you can convince Jose to sing the Colombian National Anthem for you on top of the wall near the sea. The organizers do a great job making everyone feel comfortable and safe as you take a cooling ride through the lovely city, stopping to taste delightful bites along the way until you're stuffed! Everyone loved this tour.

We had a great time with Jose! Our children aged 11 and 13 met the minimum height requirement to ride the bikes so we could all participate. All the food and drink spots were awesome!

Oh My, What a great tour! We were just one day in Cartagena and were concerned how to make the most of our time. This was the best. Food was good and we were given a good sense of everyday favorites for the locals. Our 3 guides were wonderful - we were given excellent instructions and had no problems (69 & 65 years old, we are!). This is a great way to see the old city and so much better than walking (we covered a lot of ground). If you go, ask Jose to sing the national anthem when you are on top of the wall, facing the flag. He told us Columbia has the most beautiful anthem so I asked him to sing it. After much encouragement he finally did so and it was so moving and really beautiful. This was the best adventure of our entire 2 week cruise!

We were looking for a small group tour that would be different. This definitely fit the bill. We had a few minors concerns beforehand. We are 57 and 64 and not regular bike riders but I figured this would not be the Tour de France and I was right. It is an easy ride from stop to stop. I almost wish there had been more riding. It was a little hair raising at times, not because of the very busy traffic ( We were well coached beforehand and well guided and supervised during the tour) - the hair raising part was the oblivious pedestrian tourists. We were also a bit concerned about bike riding in the extreme heat of Cartegena. Actually it was pleasant and cooler than walking. The food was more than ample and all so different. Our hosts definitely thought this out. There was a scheduled bathroom break. We didn't need it but it shows how thoughtfully planned this tour is. The bicycles were sturdy and comfortable. They provide helmets and bottled water. Our hosts Jose and Mirette ( I am afraid that may not be the right spelling-if so, a million apologies) were thoroughly charming, engaging and so very professional. We highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys trying new things. We would do this tour again in a heartbeat even if it was the exact same itinerary.

We had a great Bite and Bike tour. The food was fantastic! Jose was well prepared and we had a wonderful time. Really got the flavor of Cartegna.
