The experience was good but not worth it. The entire event was not well co-ordinated. Buffet was already set when we boarded the boat @ 18:45 - 15 min before departure time. When we asked if we could serve ourself we were told only after departure. But most of the guests had already started. Also though on website it is mentioned unlimited drinks, I could hardly get hold of anyone to order drinks. It was chaotic.

Seeing the buildings and bridges lit up at night was beautiful. The food was mediocre, at best. The wait staff were very helpful.

The staff was not very friendly and did not feel welcomed with my toddler. Food was plentiful but bland. View is worth it. Parking was hard.

Not the experience I thought it would be... Better for couples or more

I was trying to book a dinner cruise online when I asked a rep. via chat some questions and when I said I will book it myself the person said no its ok I'll do it because I need to put the special request (even though there was a location for it on the form), but than also tried to up-sale me. While this was going on and I didn't want the up-sale, I informed them that my restriction was to have gluten-free food per my doctors orders. I didn't feel well during the transaction so I completely forgot to really check the date. I realized later that the date was wrong for me, but the 24hr rule cancellation policy didn't really apply since I was booking within the 24hrs which is kind of ridiculous when you are booking in a day. However, that aside I missed the date. So I booked another on my own putting my restriction as gluten-free on the special request portion. When I got to my booking, they said oh you didn't show up the day of your first booking where we prepared the food so that's why we don't have the gluten free options for you today. Huh? How does that make sense? Honestly worst explanation, since it was a completely different booking with food allergy specifications. They had limited items for me... a chicken dish, Hungarian cucumber salad, and a goulash soup, which I am not a huge fan of soups. The staff who served the drinks and took the plates were was as helpful as they could be given the circumstances. The live music was pleasant to listen. Also honestly this is not really for a solo traveler, this is more of a couple or group event. Anyways, to top it all off they attempted my credit card more than 2x, therefore blocking me in a foreign country and putting me in another unpleasant situation. So will I not book again with this company and if anything I will give my friends my experience and let them decide.

The boarding details were different than the actual place of boarding, we had difficulties finding the right spot, we were told to arrive at a dock and the boarding was 1 dock prior from the one provided in the info. Luckily we saw a line of people there and went to check. If you don't know Hungarian you will have problems, the staff welcoming you on the boat will basically ignore you and speak with you in Hungarian, even if you clearly tell them you don't understand, they will continue to speak Hungarian to you, they won't even point you in the right direction to be seated, they will assume if they repeat themselves long enough you will develop Google translate powers and you will magically understand them. The goulash was ok, not memorable but decent enough. The Danube is amazing though.
