Boat ride on the Danube is a must. The food could have been better, but the overall experience was lovely.

Wonderful, excellent service. My only comment would be that the pier for boarding was hard to find due to building work.
An experience
, Dec 2021
I was a little weary after reading reviews from some people, but we’d already booked it and were only a couple days out, so went anyways to have our own experience. Food was not bad at all. We actually enjoyed it. The waitstaff was nice. Anyone we interacted with anyways and we also liked the men playing the live music. It wasn’t anything super special of fancy, but was a good experience. We’d never done anything like it so we have nothing to compare it to. The only this is, since the lights are on full blast, there’s a glare when trying to look out the window at the lit up buildings or take pictures. It would be nice if they were able to be dimmed a bit.

Hello..... I have been several times in Budapest and I and my wife really love this town. Because of culture, food, people..we have stayed i Budapest for eight times. Its an amazing city. This time on october 2021 we have ordered an evening cruise wit dinner and music. This is normal to us..We have done it before but this time it was together with our children because of my wifes birthday. Normally these trips, lunchtrips or evening trips has benn to full satisfactory...but this time..... It was awful........The orchestra was very good but totalyy destroyed the evening...There was no stop, no hesitating..The just played if they was a robot....It was a cathastrophy...and Im a muscisian myself.....The food has changed from a delicate buffet to two disches...A chicken stew with rice and the second was a Lasagne with only vegetables inside. I compare these dishes wit another meal we had in Budapest some days before........I dont know whats happen with these tours but I can say it was the last time I ordered these trips......I wa soo dissapointes and Im stil dissapointed because I had invited all my children and relatives for this evening. I wanted to give them a good expirience in was a total catastrophy....

Unfriendly staff, moldy bread and the soup wasn’t good. we left before it even started and booked another boat trip somewhere else the next day.

The experience was good but not worth it. The entire event was not well co-ordinated. Buffet was already set when we boarded the boat @ 18:45 - 15 min before departure time. When we asked if we could serve ourself we were told only after departure. But most of the guests had already started. Also though on website it is mentioned unlimited drinks, I could hardly get hold of anyone to order drinks. It was chaotic.

Seeing the buildings and bridges lit up at night was beautiful. The food was mediocre, at best. The wait staff were very helpful.
