A different way to enjoy Athens

We were looking for a different experience for our stay in Athens and we decided to try this one. It ended up being a very fun, interesting and well organised morning. The guide was a prepared personal trainer who gave us insights of the historical context, alongside the physical warm-up and exercises. The activity consisted on a sort of easy pentathlon to challenge ourselves and a few exercises about discus and javelin throw. The day finishes inside the stadium (the ticket is not included, but I recommend not to miss this part. It's 5€ and it includes an audio tour you can complete afterwards. It was good fun, highly recommended.

Work out in a Historic Place! Awesome!

Did a 2 hour work out on a morning in Athens with our guide who helped us stretch out - taught us to throw the javelin, discus and do long jump in an old gymnasium in the shadows of the stadium - and then we ran a race in the stadium itself! Our guide helped us take a ton of photos - and kept us informed and happy- Obviously tailored the workout to our ability! Thank you to the Pilates/German teacher (Christina?) who even told us what to do and eat for fun in Greece!

super super super super fun way to learn about the olympics!!!! our guide was AWESOME!!! Could not have been nicer and so helpful and taught us so much!! Really enjoyed trying the javelin trying being the key word :!! haha!! and discus and long jump...highly recommend!!!

Get ready for a workout! Our guide/trainer was great at adjusting the workout level individually so that no one was bored or too challenged. We touched on the history of the games and then covered the basics of javelin, shot put, discus, and long jump before heading to the Olympic Stadium. Our guide got us there early and only 4 other people were in the arena!! We walked through the museum and then got to run the track!! After the session was over we were able to stay and explore the stadium at our leisure! A great way to honor the birthplace of the Olympic games!
