The tour was excellent. The tour guide was excellent and the driver was skillful at going up the winding mountain roads. Lunch was delightful.

Pick up took over an hour.

We signed up for hotel pickup and were given 7:40am as the time. We were ready and waiting at 7:35. We did not get picked up until 8:40, after calling the company twice to find out what was going on. We were told that the bus got behind at another hotel but would be coming. The tour guide picked us up and told us that we missed the bus earlier! This was a lie and set the tone for the day, no apology just a blatant lie. The tour was described as half capacity with a limit of 26 and the bus was carrying 33, no sanitizer and several passengers without masks. The bus ride was a long on and there was no drinking permitted, it got hot on the bus and would have been nice to have some water. The destination, Apollo's Temple was amazing! The guide gave a nice explanation of the various ruins and rituals practiced there. It was very rushed though, after hours of riding in the bus, we only had 30 minutes to explore the site. This was also the case at the museum included. We had to rush through the museum to be able to pick up a souvenir at the museum shop, as we only has 20 minutes after getting through the entry line. If you are a cat lover, there were lots of cats and kittens around begging for food and attention, so being some treats. The lunch was at a very nice restaurant and had awesome Greek food. We did the three course package as we had no idea what to order and left more than full! The drinks were not included but they had a nice selection. The staff were friendly and it was a great experiece.

Delphi was wonderful, the tour organization was terrible

We were not told until we were on the bus that proof of COVID vaccine was necessary. This should have been communicated at time of booking or before boarding the bus. The tour of Delphi was very nice, and the tour guide did a good job. She did a super job dealing with one consistently late couple. The drop-off at the end of the tour was a nightmare. There was a road closure, so we were dropped off in the middle of the street. We were given the choice of a metro ride or a 25 minute walk. We opted to walk, but were given no directions to our hotel.

Worth the trip

Beware, that this tour requires around 3 hours of bus driving to Arrive to Delphi (plus the equal to get back to Athens). However our tour guide spent this time to explain lots and lots of Greek mythological and cultural information. You will have around 2.5 hours on the site, which 1 hour will be also narrated by the guide, which gives you some context. Then you will have 1-1.5 hours to wander around, take pictures, go to the top of the site, and soak in the atmosphere of Delphi. For me it was well worth it, wonderful place with a very pleasant vibe.

Great day at Delphi

Great tour. Excellent tour guide, very informative. Note Delphi is very steep and may be difficult for those with mobility issues. Long queue at museum due to having to show vaccination proof, therefore, by the time we entered we only had 10-15 mins to browse. Great place for lunch and opportunity to interact with other people.

This was BBC a great tour. The coach was big, spacious, and very comfortable. We were taken to Delphi and had a coffee break mid way. We then had access to Delphi for 45 mins and then 30mins in the museum. We had a stop for lunch on a good restaurant. We didn’t get the set menu included but the restaurant had delicious options to choose from. The highlight of the trip was the guide, Demetrius, who was very knowledgable and explained in detail the history of Greece and Delphi. We were really lucky to have him!

Very good organised tour to a very wonderful place

Very well organised day in terms of pick up from hotel, itinerary, lunch and drop off. Delphi is of course amazing. Our tour guide Katia was excellent, very knowledgable and she gave the right amount of input, and our driver Panos felt very safe. Lunch was at a nice relaxing place. My only feedback is I would have liked another 30 minutes free time at the archaeological site as I hardly had time to go up to the stadium at the top. A good day :)
