If you go on your own, you miss out on understanding the Acropolis. The tour inside the museum was short. Would like to have had more than the quick talk about a few objects. Use the museum guides when they open up for a more comprehensive tour.

Fantastic tour. Our tour guide Ari was the best! He was so nice, patient, humble, and knowledgeable. Tour was managed perfectly. No complaints at all. Can’t recommend it enough. Duration of tour was just right and hit all of the major high points in the Acropolis and Acropolis museum. Ari was so friendly and engaging. Learned so much, and will definitely do again.

Very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide...group was not too large...seeing the sites up close was an amazing experience but being educated on the history behind the different structures definitely enhanced the tour

Acropolis must-do
Louis_V
, Mar 2020
A must do if you want to know more of the history behind the Acropolis. Our guide, Dorina, was clearly passionate about her subject and struck the balance between providing loads of information without becoming boring. Highly recommended. Beware of the fineprint though. We missed the information regarding the non-inclusion of entrance tickets, resulting in a somewhat unpleasant surprise at the start of the tour. Nevertheless worth every Euro spent.

Best way to visit the Acropolis
Valerie

Thoroughly enjoyed visiting the Akropolis and it’s museum with our tour guide who was very passionate about her city Athens. She took us in a time capsule describing the different eras of Greek history and mythology. The length of the tour was also ideal.
