Acropolis Private Skip the Line and Hidden Gems Tour

He gave a lot of history about each of the ancient ruins on the tour. Very polite. Gave multiple points of views on the history and stories. Got to see a bunch of the different attractions/historical points with the guide and then got to continue to explore them at our own pace after the tour.

This private walking tour at the Acropolis was great all thanks to our guide, Dimitra! She was very helpful and made sure we were comfortable. She even helped me booked our tickets to the site. Her explanation were detailed but remained interesting. Our teen daughter was very entertained & engaged the entire tour because of her. Will definitely recommend Dimitra if you want to book this tour!

We had only one free day in Athens and wanted to see the Acropolis. Stefano, our guide, was wonderful because of his historical and cultural knowledge base. He was most patient and answered our many questions with clarity. Stefanie was always concerned for our safety making sure we walked on stable surfaces. At the end of the tour he gave us clear directions for our next destination - The Mew Acropolis Museum. I highly recommend this tour especially if you are lucky enough to have Stefano as your guide.

Unfortunately, there were some problems with organizing the tour. We were much earlier in the assembly point for our private tour, but the tour guide came about 30 minutes later than the set time. We had to call the agency Withlocals to clarify the situation. Then, the tour began with a delay. The guide (Kostas) was competent, but I would recommend for such kind of visits that he would be able to offer a more fascinating and emotional lecture. Especially, when we waited patiently for him to appear at his workplace and we have lost some of our time and money, he would at least have to compensate us with a fascinating presentation of the information and at least to have apologized for the delay. But we are generally pleased to have touched the rich history of Athens. Thank you

Excellent tour. Probably our favorite. Our guide, Alex, was terrific. Our young children were engaged and Alex was patient and a great guide for the whole family!
