Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Begin your horseback riding adventure with pickup at your Aruba hotel or at a centrally located meeting point, where you'll climb into a comfortable tour vehicle for the trip to Rancho Loco.

Once there, meet your horseback riding guide, who will match you with a horse according to your skills or abilities. You can also get instructions and guidance on how to handle the horse; no horseback riding experience is necessary for this tour. Get comfortable with your horse and the commands before heading out on the trail.

Ride through Arikok National Park and up into the highlands for photo-worthy views of the island. Descend through the sand dunes to the beach, where you'll ride along the shoreline to a natural pool. Spend about half an hour exploring the area and swimming (optional). Climb back on your horse and head back to the stables.

Say goodbye to your trusty steed, climb back into your ground transportation, and you'll be transported back to your original departure point.

Giddy Up

This was a very pleasant horseback ride! The company provides hotel pickup and drop off, as the ranch is basically located mid-island, just outside the National Park. The total length of the ride was 7 miles and is an "in and out" ride. For myself and the group I was with, the duration of the ride was 3 hours, which included about 25 minutes at the Natural Pool for the swim. This trail ride allows some exposure to the National Park and the opportunity to see cacti, rock desert and sandy beaches and dunes. The guides were all very kind and professional. If you like, bring a face mask to the Natural Pool as there are some nice fish that swim in that small alcove. I wore my hiking books and walked barefoot to Natural Pool, which was fine. maybe consider water socks/shoes for the Natural pool, but not necessary.

One of the best experiences I could have asked for! We were all a little nervous of trying horseback riding, but our guide, David, was patient and kind to us. The horses were matched up perfectly with each of us in our group & the horses were well trained so we had absolutely no issues. This was a beginner experience considering the horses did all the work and didn’t really need much direction. The views were breath taking ! This was a great price for the experience. I would highly recommend!

This is one of the best tours in Aruba. My kids LOVED it and begged me to take them again, but unfortunately we were in Aruba for only a couple of days and didn’t have enough time. We definitely will do it again. The horses were amazing and knew exactly what to do and where to go. It was such a natural and serene ride to and fro the natural pool. Our tour guides were great!!!! Very funny and made us feel comfortable throughout the whole experience. I would give this tour ten stars if possible and I would advise anyone vacationing in Aruba to make it a must. Definitely worth it!

Laid back, very enjoyable way to experience the island's unique terrain. The horses were great, and the staff wonderful! My wife and I enjoyed it immensely, and there were a few super friendly dogs (auxiliary staff) at the stable that I could have adopted in a heartbeat! Go for it!

WOW.

Wow. We did a couple of touristy things on the island, which is usually *not* our thing. But we had a blast. The staff was very friendly, the horses are mostly on autopilot (so no need to fear this if it's your first time), and the scenery is JAW DROPPING. Jaw. Dropping. Go on this tour; it's worth every penny (and a generous tip for your hosts). PS We didnt find the rocks to be all that sharp, so I wouldn't worry about water shoes. But sunscreen - bring it, use it, love it. Too much is just enough.
