The Basics
The Audain Art Museum spans 56,000 square feet (5,203 square meters) and houses the private art collection of philanthropist Michael Audain. Walk through the permanent collection of more than 200 works, spread over seven galleries, to see a collection of old First Nations masks, works by Emily Carr, and pieces by noted Canadian artists E. J. Hughes, Jack Shadbolt, and Stan Douglas. Additionally, take in visiting exhibitions from Canada and the world.

The Audain Art Museum is located in Whistler Village. From Vancouver, it’s about a 75-mile (121-kilometer) drive along Highway 99 (Sea to Sky Highway). Shuttle service is also available between Whistler Village and Vancouver and Vancouver International Airport.

The Audain Art Museum is open daily except for Tuesday, with extended hours on Friday. Guided tours take around an hour. Bring the family to Family Studio Sundays, which include special programs for kids.
