As you get familiar with Bergen foundation, the development of the city, its love for music, the theatre, the Norwegian romantic nationalism, Norwegian indipendence, the second world War occupation and other historical events that made this city protagonist in Norwegian history, Bergen will eventually emerge as charming and colorful mosaic. Starting point at the public library (once you arrive, look for a man with the red umbrella... That's me!) we walk past the city lake, Festplassen, the city park, we then head towards the theatre and down to torgalmenningen. The good bye is in holbergsplass, opposite to the fishmarket.
