The Basics

Seattle’s central waterfront area stretches from Pier 50 to Pier 70, bookended by Olympic Sculpture Park, to the north, and Pioneer Square, to the south. Visit the Seattle Waterfront to see Pike Place Market, which sits in the middle of the waterfront, and attractions like the Seattle Aquarium, Waterfront Park, and the Seattle Great Wheel.

Many Seattle city tours include stops at waterfront destinations. You can also head to one of the area’s many piers to hop on a whale-watching cruise or to take a ferry to Bainbridge Island or a boat to Victoria or the San Juan Islands.

DC was an excellent tour guide. We started at Pikes Place Farmers Market and finished our tour in Queen Ann Karrie Park where DC took individual group pictures of us w/the beautiful scenic view of the city with the space needle in the background. I was really facinated by Ballad Locks and ladders..Would recommend friends to take this tour.

Lots of interesting information shared by the driver. Great overview of Seattle, especially if you’re short of time. Only a couple of opportunities to get off to take photos though; mostly just driving past everything.

Good time, but overpriced

We had a good time and our driver was pleasant and funny. I personally feel this was overpriced for what you get, but if the market/demand pushes the pricing here - then it is what it is.

Our tour guide (Alandra) did an amazing job. The points of interest that they showed us were so interesting. We were given breaks along the way for photo stops, etc. It’s nice when they are from the city and are well versed in the history of the city.

We had a wonderful tour with Mark this morning - he is friendly, knowledgeable and entertaining. The tour was great, especially seeing the salmon and the otters. We were only in town for a couple of days, so I would highly recommend this tour for a complete overview and interesting history of Seattle.

We normally try to take a tour like this when we are in a new city. This was by far the BEST experience we have ever had. If you are lucky enough to get James as your guide…consider yourself lucky! He is AMAZING!!
