Little Italy San Diego

Little Italy, San Diego, CA

The Basics

At 48 square blocks, Little Italy San Diego is the largest in the United States and is best seen on foot. The eclectic neighborhood’s charming sidewalk cafés and one-of-a-kind specialty stores are reasons enough to head to this district, with locals and visitors alike strolling the streets to get a feel for the mom-and-pop restaurants, art galleries, and retail shops that make the northwest end of downtown San Diego so famous. On Saturday mornings from 9am to 1pm, the Little Italy Mercato Farmers’ Market draws crowds to its stalls offering fresh, California-grown produce, trendy foods, and crafts. Many visitors choose to eat and drink their way through this Old World slice of San Diego—a Little Italy food tour is a great way to explore the area.

San Diego Scenic Tour
This is a great way to glimpse the top city highlights in a short period of time. The sights are amazing and walking is minimal so a choice it thats a concern. The guide was very nice. Informative and funny. The goody bag with water and trail mix was a perfect thoughtful touch. My only suggestion is during covid to inform folks before purchase that the van does not have windows that open. I'm so glad we did this tour!

Great going to all the different locations. There was a good amount of time at each stop. I really thought it was too many people in one van, during the covid times. And the back row… we were way to stuffed in. Pretty much sitting on top of strangers.

San Diego Tour: Hop-on Hop-off Trolley
We were in town for a wedding and only had a short amount of time to see the city. This tour was a great way to see it all and learn some very interesting facts along the way. My favorite part of the trip was riding over the bridge to Coronado Island. I also enjoyed the music clips that the driver played throughout the ride.

Taste of Little Italy in San Diego
We live in San Diego and signed up for the tour with family visiting from Colorado. Anthony Davi gave us an experience we will recommend with friends and family who live elsewhere and in San Diego. Anthony is engaging, funny, informative and we can tell how much he loves Little Italy. Our family couldn't believe how amazing this tour is and the food stops were 5 Star.
