How to Get to Reykjavik From the Skarfabakki Cruise Terminal
From the Skarfabakki Cruise Terminal, it’s just a 10-minute drive into the city. Free shuttle buses are usually available to carry passengers to the city center and taxis are also readily available at the dock; however, thy're very expensive. Most organized shore excursions typically include round-trip transportation from the port too.
Tourist information and restrooms are available at the port, while ATMs and currency exchange desks are located in the city center. Once you’re in the city proper, most attractions are within easy walking distance. The official language in Reykjavik is Icelandic, but many locals will also speak English. The official currency is the Icelandic krona.
