Skip-the-line Musée d’Orsay Orsay Museum Guided Tour - Private Tour
Lucia was amazing! She had a specific itinerary which immersed us into the history and progression of the art in 19th century. You won't get this from internet or self guided tours. This is the best way to experience the museum.

Musée d'Orsay Skip-the-Line Impressionists Guided Tour
Our guide (Agatha) was exceptional in her knowledge of the arts and artists, and patiently answered a lot of questions to make our visit a great one. Tour was well paced and gave us time to enjoy main attractions, and there was plenty of time to explore the museum ourselves after the tour. Loved the museum, the tour, and our guide.

Musée d'Orsay Skip the Line Private Tour
We got a guide to this museum to improve our historical understanding of the work we would see at the museum. Our guide, Catherine, was very knowledgable and made our experience at the Musee d'Orsay that much better. She put all the art into excellent context so we could appreciate the art so much more deeply.

The Impressionists at Orsay - skip the line
Our guide Naomi was very well versed in the collection and showed us a lot that we did not expect to see. She got a bit painterly on us a couple of times, and perhaps she picked some pictures to focus on just for shock value, but he point was how the artists in this museum pushed the boundaries.

Dining at theOrsay Museum

If you get hungry for something light, sandwiches and salads can be purchased at Café de l'ours, but for a more thematic dining experience at the museum, visit one of its two restaurants. At Café Campana, enjoy classic Parisian brasserie fare in a dreamy underwater environment inspired by Emile Gallé, a French artist and influencer of Art Nouveau. Or go upscale at the Restaurant du Musée d'Orsay, where French cuisine related to museum events is served in an elegant, chandelier-lined room with gilded detailing and large windows.
