Nido de los Aguiluchos : Hiking + Rock Climbing + 3 Rappels

At the bottom of the Independencia Summit, the guide will outfit you with a harness, helmet, via ferrata set kit. The group then hikes for 30-45 minutes across the base of the starting point. There is a small scrambling section before we clip into the safety cables and begin climbing up. Step and grab onto the rungs to climb up. At halfway up, we stop for water, snacks and photos. Then we continue climbing up the peak of Huasteca. We have to cross to another peak with a 280ft zipline, and we have to rappel down 300ft to get back to the vehicles and go back to drop off point.
