The Basics

There are a variety of ways to see Hollywood, from open-air bus to trolley and bike tours. Most of the sights line up neatly along a 1-mile (1.6-kilometer) stretch of Hollywood Boulevard between La Brea Avenue and Vine Street.

Gaze upon many celebrity homes—from the exterior only—on sightseeing tours of the area, particularly in Beverly Hills and the Hollywood Hills; or, combine a city tour with a visit to nearby theme parks including Universal Studios Hollywood or Disneyland® Resort. Full-day tours to Hollywood run from Los Angeles, Anaheim, and even Las Vegas.

Fun experience - worth the money
JB was an amazing host. He was fun and lively. He was considerate of all his guests. His dog was super cute. I don't usually like hiking but this was a really pleasant experience. The pathway was paved for like 98% of the hike. Some uphill parts were challenging but JB offered us plenty of breaks and water (and entertainment).

Griffith Observatory Hike: An LA Tour through the Hollywood Hills
Erik Martinez gave a wonderful tour filled with lots history about the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory and plenty of opportunities to take pictures and take in the view along the way! He also gave tips and tricks about staying in LA and provided many safety instructions to the group. I was nervous to hike alone, but the tour was friendly and engaging and I had a great time meeting new people! This was a 10/10 experience and I would definitely do it again!

The Real Hollywood Walking Tour
My husband and I decided to take a walking tour of Hollywood and learn some of its history. We were not disappointed. Damion gave us a great walking tour, and was so knowledgeable about everything. We loved hearing the stories of the studios and theaters, and the people who established Hollywood as we now know it.

This was an awesome hiking tour to the Summit of Mt Lee (above the Hollywood sign). Jeff was an incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and funny guide. He was constantly checking in on the group and took amazing photos (using our cell phones) at various vista points along the way. Highly recommend this tour! Icy cold waters a bonus. Thanks Jeff for a memorable experience.

Official Hollywood Sign Hike: Walk to the Hollywood Sign on this LA Tour
We had a great hike up to the sign. Katie was our tour guide. She was knowledgeable about the history and made it a fun experience. I would recommend this hike to anyone interested in getting great views of the Hollywood sign. It’s not necessarily for the faint of heart or those that are out of shape to go all the way to the top. My group thoroughly enjoyed our experience. A must do when visiting LA.

Hollywood Tour - Hollywood Sightseeing by Electric Bike
Excellent! Our tour guide Eric was super nice, knowledgeable, and made us feel very safe in LA traffic. I'm from SF so we're used to biking everywhere here. LA was much harder to navigate due to car traffic but Eric made it so easy and safe. We saw so much in 3-4 hours! LACMA, La Brea tar pits, Larchmont, Hancock Park, the Grove, Original Farmer's market, Hollywood Forever cemetery, Hollywood Walk of Fame, West Hollywood. Definitely wear sunscreen lol. Great time and highly recommend.

Griffith Observatory Hike: An LA Tour through the Hollywood Hills
My family and I had a great time with our guide Noel. She told us interesting facts and information not only about Mountain Hollywood but of the Los Angeles area. She was also very motivating to keep on going up the mountain which was difficult at time.

JB was an excellent tour guide with plenty of interesting stories and humor. The hike was relatively easy with a nice pace set by JB, and just enough rest stops along the way. Total round trip distance was 6 miles total. I highly recommend especially for those making the trek up to the Hollywood Sign for the first time.
