The Basics

The London Dungeon is a fun, if not somewhat frightening, way to learn about some of the more macabre chapters from London’s history. Ticket holders will find a cast of charismatic characters on hand to guide them through the 90-minute experience. Because of the attraction’s popularity, it’s a good idea to purchase a ticket in advance, thus avoiding waiting in line or potentially being assigned a slot much later in the day. A London Dungeon entrance ticket can be combined with a Thames River hop-on hop-off cruise, which stops at several locations along the waterfront, including Westminster Pier, Tower Pier, Greenwich Pier, and the London Eye Pier.

Went Twice!
Loved this tour of the darker side of London, very cool combination of history and horror, about an hour long and fine for kids over 12. great actors. Easy to access, and worth the money! I went a second time, cuz i dug it that much. A+

Big Bus London Hop-On Hop-Off Tour and River Cruise
This was a great ride- we started on the blue line and changed to the red, so got the entire tour. The narration was funny and informative, with much better music selections than a competitors bus we had tried to take (and had left) several days prior.

The Big Day out - London Eye Ticket, London Hop-on Hop-Off Tour & River Cruise
We had a wonderful time! I just wish it was clearer that the Big Bus tickets all include the River Cruise. I struggled to book this because the description overview says that the river cruise only runs Fri-Sun and that is incorrect. We rode on Wednesday and it was already included with the bus. We had a wonderful time anyways but would’ve appreciated to have the correct information.

Ref line is great. BLUE has no narrative , wouldn't even know where you went until pulling out tour map or phone. People all very helpful.

Great day in London to see a lot in one day

The Big Day out - London Eye Ticket, London Hop-on Hop-Off Tour & River Cruise
We had fun on the bus. The beat part was the water cruise. The narrator was awesome telling about all the buildings down the river. Kept it funny and light so I kept listening. As for the London Eye, I am afraid of heights, and I have to say it was not as bad as I thought it would be. R The ride was smooth and the view was spectacular. Well worth the whole day. A+++

Tootbus Must See London: Hop-on Hop-off Bus Tour and Thames River Cruise
It was great and enjoyable tour. Everything is good but the number of bus is limited. The waiting time is too long. Suggesting to increase the frequency during the public holiday.

Big Bus London Hop-On Hop-Off Tour and River Cruise
met us at stop 14. After 1 hr, he called and was told that we had to walk to #15, ths bus was not stopping at #14. Of the 25 stops, we were only able to stop at 5! No palace, tower, etc. Driver got lost too. We paid $257.88, Bk ref BR=856110290. A refund of some of the charges would be appreciated! We're all in our 70's and won't be in London again. The London Dungeon Rides

The London Dungeon features two rides. The Tyrant Boat Ride mimics the experiences of 16th-century royal traitors who would have been transported down the foggy, rat-infested River Thames on their way to Traitors Gate at the Tower of London. The second ride, Drop Dead, takes guests through a public hanging, with participants facing a judge, priest, and executioner before experiencing the dreaded free-fall drop.
