The Basics

Stroll the Strip on a walking tour for an up-close sensory overload, zip through on a Segway, or catch a ride with an Elvis impersonator to see the action from a Pink Cadillac. For a day away, take to the skies for aerial views of the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, Lake Mead, and the Hoover Dam. Come nightfall, explore the Vegas Strip via nightclub and food tours or bar crawls. But what happens in Vegas doesn’t have to stay in Vegas: Some private hop-on hop-off limo tours come with personal photographers to document your big night out. Scenic nighttime helicopter rides are also extremely popular, allowing travelers to view the Strip in all its colorful, illuminated glory from above.

Las Vegas Strip Helicopter Night Flight with Optional Transportation
The Pilot was very very nice and concern for our safety and made sure we had a pleasant experience. The ride from the Hotel to the airport and back to our Hotel was also a very pleasant experience.

It was amazing, the champagne was not the greatest, but the ride was breathtaking and the crew that help you are there for your safety. Loved it all.

Grand Canyon Deluxe Helicopter Tour from Las Vegas
This was the most AMAZING experience. Jake, our pilot, was THE BEST!! He was funny, knowledgeable, patient and over all a great pilot. I HIGHLY recommend this experience. Maverick helicopters were professional, clean, helpful and so nice. Most importantly they are very safe. This was an experience of a lifetime.

Las Vegas Strip Helicopter Night Flight with Optional Transportation
It was great the pilot was friendly and all about safety... the only thing is it was short about 15 minutes, but it was my first time so I know to look for a longer trip next time

Would have liked some narration from the pilot or be able to talk to one another(understood it may be a COVID right now) or lease would have be 5/5

Las Vegas Strip by Limo with Personal Photographer
We had an amazing time, the stops where really good and Dana the driver, and Bobby where fantastic. They care about every detail, the limo was really clean and we had bottle of chapagne and other drinks. Music, lights.... the photos where took in great places of las vegas and bobby teach us how to pose. Worth the money, something really interesting to remember your trip to Las Vegas.

Money well spent to see and experience the Las Vegas strip from above! Company picked us up at resort, provided refreshments and covered all safety rules so each age understood. Well done!

Grand Canyon Deluxe Helicopter Tour from Las Vegas
Everything is run smoothly from booking to pick up to helicopter ride to return. Everything is clean and professionally done. Our pilot Joe was awesome and the tidbits he gave during the tour were interesting and informative. Felt like being in a high budget Hollywood film soaring above Vegas then landing inside the Grand Canyon. The champagne picnic inside the canyon was a very nice touch. Would definitely recommend to others! An unforgettable experience!!

Big Bus Las Vegas Open Top Night Tour
It was overall a good experience. Only problem was their was no social distancing. No room to sit up top. And our drives microphone was going on and out so it took away from the experience. But it was still beautiful

Las Vegas Airport Transfers
Everything was just fine. Comfortable ride and fairly quick. My only comment would be that if a ticket station is closed, let us know in advance so we’re not going all over the airport.

Las Vegas Helicopter Night Flight with Optional VIP Transportation
Easy to find location, friendly staff, clean/modern inside the building. Helicopter ride itself was exactly on time and amazing! Pilot was very nice and pointed out everything. Overall very great experience!

Things to Know Before You Go

  • Most official Las Vegas nightclubs do not allow baggy jeans, sports hats, tennis shoes, or shorts.

  • Be aware that costumed characters on the strips expect payment if you’d like to snap a photo with them.

How to Get There

The Las Vegas Strip runs along Las Vegas Boulevard South, bounded by McCarran Airport to the south and downtown and Fremont Street to the north. Taxis are abundant, but you can also walk to and from many of the Strip’s destinations along the roadway—there are pedestrian walking bridges over the busiest intersections.

When to Get There

If you’re flexible, head to the Strip between Sunday and Thursday when big conventions aren’t in town; you’ll have better room selection and rates are often lower. The weather is scorching in Las Vegas in summer and chiller than you’d expect in winter; July, August, and mid-December are considered off-season. Expect long wait times for taxis and dinner tables between 6 and 8pm each night. Vehicle traffic on the Strip is almost always busy, but especially so on weekends and holidays.

The Vegas Strip for First-Timers

There are two types of experiences when in Vegas: those brought about by spontaneity and chance, and those that must be had. For the latter, be sure to see the Mirage volcano explosion, lounge poolside with a tropical beverage, and try your hand at slots or table games. If you’ve never gambled, lessons offering insights on popular games’ rules, strategy, jargon, and etiquette are available in most of the casinos, and are a good starting point for first-timers. Ask for a schedule at your favorite casino’s customer service desk.
