Las Vegas Natural History Museum Tours
1 Review

The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is home to both live and preserved wildlife and historical exhibits from prehistoric times to present day. The museum offers a break from the Strip and a chance to learn about Egyptian mummification, the African savannah, fossils, and the science behind a well-preserved dinosaur.
The Basics
Meant to be both educational and entertaining, the museum is perfect for those visiting Las Vegas with kids. Exhibits include prehistoric animal fossils, a dinosaur mummy, a marine life gallery with live sharks and stingray, and an international wildlife gallery where bears, big cats, and antelope are displayed. Don’t miss the Treasures of Egypt, focused on the discovery and artifacts in the tomb of Tutankhamun. Prebook your ticket for easy admission.
Things to Know Before You Go
- There’s much at the Las Vegas Natural History Museum for science lovers and families.
- The museum participates in the Association of Science-Technology Centers Travel Passport Program for free admission.

When to Get There
The museum is open every day except Thanksgiving and Christmas. Temporary exhibits rotate throughout the year. Events such as shark feedings and live animal encounters take place weekly; check the museum website calendar to plan your visit around any activities.
Neon Museum
