Chena Hot Springs Day Tour from Fairbanks
I lived the whole trip and the people that led us. My most fav is the ice museum. Small but awesome. Hot springs pools were sooo relaxing and cleansing. Geothermal tour was well worth it for the science nerd in me.

Chena Hot Springs Tour
The water at the hot springs are about 99-107 degrees, wonderfully warm and great for your aching body. Visit to the ice museum and the geothermal plant were equally interesting as was the hydroponic farm. Our guide was informative and considerate and made this trip very memorable for all of us.

Chena Hot Springs Shuttle from Fairbanks
Interaction with the driver Linda and the dip in the hot spring were the highlights of our trip. Linda was very pleasant, kind and full of gems of knowledge. Her understanding of the nature and the tundra were much appreciated. We wish a little more cleaning done in the interior of the vehicle

Chena Hot Springs Day Tour from Fairbanks
We had a wonderful day. Our tour leader, Ed, was lovely, and was so knowledgeable. There was no question he couldn’t answer. We learned so much on the trip. We also spotted moose and Ed was kind enough to turn the van around so we could get pictures. Would recommend Ed and this tour to everyone !

Chena Hot Springs Tour
The Ice Museum was beautiful and Robert was wonderful at explaining the sculptures and logistics of carving the various displays. The Appletini was so good. Food at the restaurant was delicious and staff working so hard. Hot Springs finished up our day and so relaxing.

Chena Hot Springs Tour
I took this tour in April, during what's called the "shoulder season" in Alaska (meaning that the time is between the winter and summer peak tourist seasons). Ray, our tour guide, was amazing. She gave us an overview of the city of Fairbanks while we drove through on our way to Chena Hot Springs. The resort wasn't crowded because of the time of year, and we had ample time to explore and soak in the hot springs, along with enjoying a nice lunch at the restaurant. I tried the wild salmon, which was excellent. The tours of the ice museum, greenhouse, and geothermal plant were interesting and informative. For people who cannot drink alcoholic beverages: The free drink served in the ice glass that's included with the ice museum tour is alcoholic. Only one type of drink is available, which was the resort owner's late wife's favorite beverage. If you can't drink the beverage, ask if you can get an empty ice glass. The non-drinkers during my tour were accommodated.

Chena Hot Springs Day Tour from Fairbanks
Chen’s Hot Springs in and of itself is pretty awesome, but the tour was also awesome! Justin was a fantastic guide, taking us to and from the hotel, giving us recommendations for the area, as well as trying to help us tourists on the bus spot our first moose and/or bear! Would definitely recommend booking with these guys. Be sure to bring a camera because there’s so much to take in!
