On our Elk Rut Tour, you will be taken up the famous Old Fall River Road (when open, typically through September) where you will see beautiful mountain views and waterfalls, stop at the highest visitor center in the US National Park System, drive back down the highest continuous paved road in the United States, Trail Ridge Road (when open, typically through September), and witness the elk rut mating season in Moraine Park. When Old Fall River road is not open, you will drive up and back down Trail Ridge Road. Minimum of 2 guests. Please note that we are only able to offer hotel pickup for guests in Estes Park or the small surrounding towns. If you are staying outside of Estes Park, we can meet you at the free parking garage for the Estes Park Visitor Center for pickup.

So I have guided for 17 years, and have started my own company to deliver the tours I want to give. I concentrate on safety, natural interpretation, and storytelling. This is my flagship tour right now, dedicated to my grandmother who always made sure we were well fed and having a good time out there. We will load into a lifted jeep, with top and doors optional, and drive up a dirt road nearly up to 12,000' high on the Great Divide. We will stop and check out waterfalls, animals, and take lots of photos. Then we will drop down to the west side of the divide, along the start of the Colorado River, to have lunch. We will then continue over the highest highway in America, taking in the natural beauty, where heaven meets the earth.
