(Beau Jo's Pizza) We will eat lunch at Beau Jo's, which has been around since 1880 and is one of Colorado's hidden gems and is not included in the price. Idaho Springs is a gold mining town founded in 1859 during the Gold Rush. (Indian Hot Springs) Next we visit another historic landmark and soak in the natural geothermal cave pools, which will be perfect for our muscles after our hike and is included with the price. Due to COVID, access to the caves and pool will be limited to a max of 10 at a time. Caves are on a first come first served basis and are gender separated. If you want an experience with little risk and a whole lot of reward, this tour is for you.

A local favorite off the beaten tourist path in Pike National Forest. Devils Head Fire Lookout is on the National Register of Historic Places. Devil's Head Lookout Trail takes you to a distinct granite rock outcropping in the front range. The towers are visible from Castle Rock to Woodland Park. From the Look Out Tower remarkable views of the Rocky Mountains for 100 miles in all directions! The majority of this hike is shaded by mixed Aspen and Pine forest. There are plenty of shaded benches along the path. Unique adventure Private tours only. Seasonal March - Nov. Accessible in Winter with additional 2 mile hike. As of August 2019, the stairs are CLOSED for maintenance however the trail is still accessible.
