How to Get There
Trinity College is situated on the banks of the River Cam in Cambridge. Travelers arriving by train should depart at Cambridge station, before taking a bus or taxi to the city center. From there, Trinity College is just a short walk. It may be more convenient to arrive by private vehicle but there’s no on-site parking for visitors.

When to Get There
Trinity College’s Great Court and Chapel are typically open from 10am to 4:30pm daily. The Wren Library is typically open to the public from Monday to Friday between 12pm and 2pm, and from 10:30am to 12:30pm on Saturdays. Hours may vary outside of term time so check in advance to avoid disappointment.
Punting at Trinity College
Punts are flat-bottomed boats designed to be used in shallow waters and are propelled forward by pushing the riverbed using a long pole. Punting is especially popular along the length of the River Cam and visitors to Trinity College can rent punts by the hour for a small fee. Punts are usually available from the mid-morning to the late afternoon between Easter and mid-October. Alternatively, chauffeured punting excursions are available.
