This is a complete adventure surrounding the active volcano Nevado del Ruiz. Backpackers Colombia apart itself from most conventional tour operators by creating off the beaten track adventures which are much more than just a simple tour. Conventional tour operators mostly offer a very short tour inside the park and then to artificial hot springs. In this complete adventure (12-14 hours) everything you'll see is completely natural, we will get many different views to the active volcano and hike for a few hours. We adapt the adventure to the physical conditions of each person and can take you to you to the highlight places by 4X4 car or hike our way, you choose it yourself.

This is a route that mixes high mountains (4450 meters) with volcanic-Andean landscapes and thermal baths, allowing visitors to see 2 very interesting attractions of Manizales such as the Nevado del Ruiz and the Termales del Otoño

Our tour begins by picking you up in Jericó to transport you down a bumpy path to the family run coffee farm. After a traditional Colombian meal cooked by Ariel and his family, The guide will then take you on a tour around the farm. You will learn about the property, and receive a hands on experience whilst learning about the coffee cultivation process. They will take you through picking the coffee fruits, then teach you about the de-shelling, fermentation, cleaning, drying and roasting. On the way back to Jericó we will stop by a waterfall where you will have the opportunity to view a beautiful rainbow through the water (weather permitting). We will then return to Jericó.

The Ramón y Elena Coffee Route is a model of entrepreneurship with social impact. In addition to entertainment, visitors will find how economic benefit can be integrated with nature conservation and social impact. In Ramón and Elena we collect rainwater and use it for the benefit of coffee, we recognize a fair payment to the collectors and we have the Recolecta Amor program, for the education of the children of the collectors. On our route you will find a large number of varieties of fruit trees that provide shade to coffee and help conserve the ecosystem.

Manizales opens its doors to show us one of the most spectacular landscapes: its coffee plantations. During this tour you will have the opportunity to mix the delight of your gaze with the forces of your legs to reach the end. Each piece will be a mixture of sensations, which upon reaching the goal will leave you with only one word: WOW! This Cross Country route combines good pedaling, good coffee and a unique landscape. We will cross routes that include uncovered roads and challenging climbs. This route is perfect for riders who like to pedal, want to have a very good experience and prefer not to take aggressive descents.

We offer very modern, high quality and well maintained mountain bikes for your use in and around the town of Jericó, Colombia. We provide you with protective helmet as well as a lock and key to keep the bike secure when it isn't in use. It is an amazing way to explore this vast, breathtaking area.
